We're incredibly excited to be working with the Young Economic Summit to bring you 'YES! Bridge'.

YES! is a competition for secondary school students dealing with global problems in the realm of economy, policy, society and environment. We are inviting students from year 10, 11,12 and 13, or S4, 5 and 6 in Scotland to find innovative solutions ​to some of the most difficult problems we face. You don't need to be studying economics to enter, as long as you've got innovative solutions, we want to hear them!

Five school teams from the UK will be selected as finalists and work together with German researchers to prepare and compete in the British National Final this Summer. The top two teams from the National Final will then advance to the International Final in Germany in September 2022.

Your task is to identify and work on a core problem important to you. Look at all possible issues on this topic and develop a solution that has the potential to solve the problem. You can present your solution in a one-page essay or be creative with a video, podcast or something else .

This year we're asking teams of 5 students to create a solution to any of the following problems:
