Introduction

This lecture addresses the diversity problem in economics and explains why it matters.


Who is the resource aimed at?

Suitable for key stage 4 and key stage 5 students (14 to 18-year-olds)


How can the resource be used?

Delivered during PSHE to give students a better understanding of the world or supplementary materials to the economics lesson.


How does the resource link to the curriculum?

It enables students to develop a broader understanding of economic issues that impact people from different backgrounds and learn about strategies for promoting social and economic equity.


How long will the activity take?

Around 20 minutes, although there is room for discussion around the topics explored.
