Lecture - Talking about Econ

Introduction

This lecture addresses some faulty perceptions of what economics is by exploring what economists really do.

Who is the resource aimed at?

Suitable for key stage 4 and key stage 5 students (14 to 18 year olds)

How can the resource be used?

As part of your options process as students choose GCSE/A-level options, or delivered during PSHE to give students a better understanding of the world.

How does the resource link to the curriculum?

When preparing year 11/S4 students for their next stage, this would be a great resource to talk to them about the options available.

How long will the activity take?

Around 20 minutes, although there is room for discussion around the topics explored.
