Introduction

In partnership with Speakers for Schools, our 2024 International Women's Day event focused on Women in Economics, and how we can break barriers together. With guest speakers:

The event was a great success, and our speakers provided some really insightful advice to those considering a career in the sector, and the future of gender equality in economics.


Who is the resource aimed at?

Female-identifying or non-binary students considering their choices as they move through education; in particular, those looking at A-level/Scottish Highers choices. However, there are insights for everyone available from our amazing panellists!

Could be used as part of a careers lesson, or just to inform about the different routes into economics roles, particularly for women.
