About the event

****THIS IS EVENT IS BEING RESCHEDULED****

The event is a one-off session hosted at Cardiff University and will include a series of activities led by speakers from a range of backgrounds, including current economics students. It is designed to give young people a better understanding of economics through presenting illustrative applications of economics in a range of contexts and introducing the careers of professional economists.

Students will have the opportunity to learn more about how to enter the Royal Economics Society Young Economist of the Year competition sponsored by KPMG. The competition aims at encouraging students to produce their own ideas in analysing contemporary economic problems facing the UK and the world.
