About the event
Our insight day is open to sixth form students who want to find out more about studying Economics at university and also what studying a degree in Economics can lead to. You will find out about the type of work that we do at Frontier Economics as well as in the wider field of economic consulting.
There will be multiple sessions which will cover:
■ An introduction to Economics – find what out studying Economics is like as well as an overview of the work we do in economic consulting.
■ Get to know Frontier – find out more about Frontier and gain an insight into some of the projects we have worked on.
■ Interactive case study workshop – you will be introduced to a case study before working in groups to solve the case using what you have learnt in the earlier session.
■ Recruitment skills session – this will provide useful tips and hints when preparing for interviews and advice on work experience applications.
About you■ You will be a sixth form student (Years 12 and 13 in the school year starting September 2024) interested in finding out more about studying Economics at university and what can be done with an economics degree after University. Applicants do not have to be decided on studying Economics as a degree.
■ You will be studying 3+ A-levels or equivalent
