This lesson plan aims to provide an introductory understanding of the links between AI, economics and healthcare. It is the first in a series of 4 lessons.

Who is the resource aimed at?

The resources have been created to be age appropriate for our target audience of KS4 students, with no prior knowledge of economics or AI.

How can the resource be used?

This is the first in a series of 4 lessons on AI in healthcare.

How does the resource link to the curriculum?

The lesson touches on what an economist is (linking to Gatsby benchmark); what an economist's role in healthcare is, and what AI’s role in healthcare could be.

How long will the activity take?

The lesson will take 30-35 minutes.
